DesignJet T1100ps
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I bought 3 big rolls of "HP Production Satin Poster Paper" thinking it would be ok to use with my DesignJet t1100ps. The printer does not show this paper, so i need to find a compatible setting. I tried setting the printer to "HP Coated Paper" but the print came out wet.

Before i waste a lot of paper and ink, does any know what would be a good setting for this paper?

T1100 is the printer for drawings, not for posters, that is why you dont have that paper type in your printer.

Coated paper settings is similar to plain paper settings that's is the reason your print is wet.

You need to set some photographic paper in your printer (driver) and test to find the best result.

In case anyone else needs the answer ....

1. the 3" core with this poster paper makes the paper rub against the printer. I had to print 20' of blank/small prints and manually turn the roll with both hands from behind the printer so that the paper would get through the printer. After this 20', the paper no longer rubbed against the printer and the printer managed the paper just fine.

2. The correct setting for the poster paper is "Coated Paper". Do not use HP Coated Paper.

Good to know.  Thanks for posting the follow up.

I don't work for HP....I just repair their printers.
