Welp this just in, it was the ink cartridge all along. Tried a total of three yes three HP OEM cartridges which all failed. Purchased an aftermarket ink cartridge off of eBay, and low and behold it worked, so I went back and tried the new HP OEM ones and yup you guessed it all three failed. Just for **bleep**s and giggles I went to the local Staples store and purchased a HP OEM cartridge, that one worked fine. Why is this become a problem with HP products is beyond me.
