Designjet T2530

I'm looking for info on how to install a new hard drive with firmware on a Designjet T2530.  I purchased this through a govenment surplus auction.  The hard drive has been removed.  Can I just buy a hard drive, format it for windowsand install the firmware myself?  I bought a T795 and ended up having to buy a drive with the firmware installed and formatted by a unix machine.  Any advice would be awesome.

The same, you need to get a HDD with installed firmware. You can't just install any HDD.
