Product: Designjet T1600
Operating System: Other

I have a Designjet T1600 blocked with the message "No installation package found".

This message is not documented in the service manual.

The rear leds are:

Led 1 Red fixed

Led 2 Red blinking

Led 3 Off

This leds combination indicates an issue with the hard disk.

How to know if it is an hardware or software problem?

In case of software problem, is there a way to rebuild or update the interenal hard disk?

HP Recommended

download and copy the firmware fmw file to a usb stick (formatted fat32). Insert the stick into the front USB port and then power on the device. Plotter will find the firmware and prompt if you want to update the firmware.
