Hi all,
I have placed new print heads in my HP Z3100 and the E/G (Enhancer/Gray) print head will not reseat. My printer keeps telling me to reseat to no avail and will not let me print.
I have tried 2 new heads that I've had sitting around. Both are out of date, but so are the others which have reseated without a problem.
I have cleaned the flex contacts on both the carriage and print head.
Any help much appreciated.

Last month, I had same problem with yellow/magenta printhead & replaced 2 brand new
& printer not even check & prompt right back to say replace printheads.
At no solution & I tried turn off & on... even few times, also removed formatter .. Finally one time printer made sound
& checked the printheads, then prompted me to load paper to align printheads.
Successed.

I then switched off and unplugged it for several minutes. To no avail once again.
Then I pulled the Y/M head out randomly and reseated it. For some strange reason this worked.
Who knows?
