Printing a booklet on large format HP printer from a PDF file

I scan music and put it in a PDF file. I want to print the 8 page PDF portrait view file to  a double sided BOOKLET on 11 x 17 paper.   Essentially, the output should have 2 portrait oriented images per page.

Problems: 

The output prints as though flipping a calendar rather turning a book page (the back page is "upside down" relative to the front page).   

There does not seem to be any place to declare which edge the image is flipped on as one would see in simple double sided printing.

May I know which App are you using to print the PDF file?

If possible please send me pictures of the Print Settings you get when printing the PDF file
