Hp designjet t1300
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My T1300 is not printing, it gives a message which reads PLEASE WAIT generating diagnostic information as soon as you try to print something.

It does this forever

Do the diagnostic tests from the control panel print?

Does the printer boot up without error and come to a Ready state?  If so, perform a firmware upgrade.  I would load both the 2015 version and then the incremental 2021 version.  I would disconnect USB or network cable.  Power up printer and load firmware via a USB stick.  There should be a PDF that downloads with firmware.  Generating diagnostic information usually occurs when performing tests from the Diagnostic menu.  I have not seen this message in a non-diagnostic state.
