HP T2500

I have a Designjet T2500 that is indicating a 39:12:01 error.  The error appears after a print has printed part of the job, the plotter cuts the paper and then moves the print into the stacker area, the plotter then unloads the paper.

I have tried swapping out the paper spindle but the same error appears. This also happens from both paper input rolls, so I suspect it is not the rewind motor as there are two, one for each paper roll.

I have checked the paper path and this looks clear.

has anyone else seen this issue, and how was it resolved ?

Thanks in advance.

Guy

Hi Guy-1

I see this all the time.

Clean the Encoder Strip.

Clean and recalibrate the Line Sensor

Remove the rolls and spindles and reset the Rewinders (from the Service Menu)

Run a Paper Advance Calinration and a PH alignment.

This unit gets a lot of Ink Aerosol throughout as the Service Station is not as good as the older models, so they require more cleaning/Maintenance.

God Luck
