Upon pressing the start button, the T795 screen shows initializing; with the progress bar slowing making it way to 94%
It hangs on 94% for perhaps a minute then the screen shows "switching power off" and shuts down.
This printer has very little time on it in fact it still has some of the small original ink cartridges shipped with the unit.

Remove all the printhead, ink cartridges and media that is loaded and then turn the printer back on and see if it gets to 100%. If it does install the printheads and then ink cartridges first and then hopefully it asks for the media. Good Luck.

When you start the printer listen for the carriage to move out of the service station and then unplug the plotter. There is a hole I think on the right side that is the cover open switch as you could stick a wad of paper into the hole with the top cover open so you can see when the carriage moves out of the service station and you unplug the plotter. Also since the plotter gets to 94% it is possible the carriage is unlocked when the error comes up. Just unplug the printer, open the top cover and see if you move the carriage by hand to move it to where you can open the carriage top cover and remove the printhead. You should then close the carriage cover as if the printheads are installed to make sure the cover does not cause a path jam. Good Luck.
