HP DesignJet Z3200 44-in PostScript Photo Printer

I have a Z3200 Design Jet printer.   On the front panel of the printer I no longer  can review the ink usage information.
It does show each print cartage information but the ink levels are never updated even after I print many photo jobs.

I know that the "HP print utility" is no longer supported with Windows 10 but the "on printer" display information should still work properly as this is on the printer itself and should have nothing to do with Windows operating system.  I really need to be able to see the current ink levels BEFORE I print large printing jobs!!

Are you using OEM cartridges or refilled/3rd party cartridges. If refilled, the printer has no way to know what the levels are.

I have only used official HP products with my printer.

Is it possible that my current firmware ( TR12-RB_11.0.0.3 ) is not able to communicate properly with the chips contained on each ink Cartridge?   I know that my printer has some age on it, but it still prints great and I should still be able to use the front panel on the printer to view the accurate ink levels.

You firmware is not current and there is mention in the fix list about some ink level monitoring improvements, so I suggest that you update the firmware.
