I understand that you are having some issues with your Deskjet 3510 All-in-One Printer rejecting cartridges.

 

First though, while HP printers may have issues with reading refilled cartridges, using a refilled cartridge does not sabotage the printer.  That said, this document outlines how to troubleshoot cartridge errors on the printer.
