well i have gotten it to say it loaded

but i still have no prompts on the front panel

i have tried unplugging power with and without usb

and still no prompts

any other hints to get me out of this and moving forward

Go to Ebay & buy a set of remanufactured #11 printheads for about $45... no firmware updates or bababa...

I just repaired 2 DJ500 42" model last week with these perfectly.

first that all, did you verify that the ph is within affected batch?

if it is not within affected batch you may have a Hardware issue and firmware will not fix it.

after firmware update, was you able to see new version on the FP?

Set-up > Printer information > Engine FW -> should display A.05.01

if firmware is not getting updated, try to share your printer queue. it is a requisite to get it work.

yes print head is dated may 2020

i have shared printer

however after all this goofing with this **bleep** firm ware crap

i realized that this printer does not even have a **bleep** card

i am going to go with jasonmiami idea of

purchasing refurbished head that is my only option at this point

firm ware in machine is A.03.04

Please use MS OS: Win 7 32bit for Firmware upgrading issue

Hi,

In the company, we have several DJ500 all of them with FW a04.02.

2 of them were working fine and suddenly gave error 91:04 and asks to change cyan printhead. Tried with cyan printhead working on another plotter and still asks to change it. Does anybody know what could be happening?
