t2300 printer power supply fan

So, I bought the power supply for the T2300 mfc printer, and it's just a board.  What is the fan part number?

If you bought the PSU from HP or a partner it would come with the fan and housing (not just a board)

There is no part number for the fan that I am aware of.

You can source the fan or similar from a local electronics supplier or end user store. (check the specs from the old one)

OK, no, I bought the power supply unit as listed in the HP web page and it was a board, wires, switch, plug with fuse. NO fan.  And cute, yes I can find the voltage and size of the fan.  If I can get to it an not have the printer down for a week, while I order from Newark, Digikey, etc. 

 So, thanks.  No help.

I do not think you ordered the correct part. The power supply can be found at the link below:

All that said from what I remember the fan is the same used in standard computer ATX power supplies. If you have an old supply just remove the fan and open up the old power supply to remove and replace the fan.

Attached are pages form the service manual which show you how to separate the ps from the main board assembly. After you separate you need to dig into the ps to remove and replace the fan. I have done it and it is not that hard.

Now, see, that makes sense.  I originally went with what was listed on the HP repair parts website.  What they call the power supply, is not the power supply.  I spent $218.00 + sh +handling, upwards of $243.00, for nothing I needed.  All I really needed to know, is what size and voltage of fan, so I could buy it elsewhere. 

 Thank you for actually reading and understanding my dillema.  I guess parts are parts to most people.  Found it for $15.00 elswhere.  Again, thank you.

Oh, and for anybody else in this same situation, the part # of the actual fan is CH538-67011 12VDC with tach.
