can't find just the firm ware for T2300

Looks like they stopped releasing firmware after the 10.13 Mac OS.  I don't own a Mac so not sure if there's much difference between the 10.15 and 10.13 firmware download.  I know on Windows you can use drivers and firmware from older Windows OS without problems.  Not sure about Macs.

Firmware is available on support.hp.com. https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-designjet-t2300-multifunction-printer-series/421...

 

Maybe not listed under the Mac support page. Copy the firmware to a usb stick, in the root directory and then insert the key into the usb slot on the plotter and then turn the plotter on and it should recognize the update and then follow the prompts. Or you can update through the Embedded Web Server.

 

Note that the last full update is from 2015 and a partial update was released last year.
