Hello,

My phone is on a voice Vlan and computer on PC Vlan. All traffic is blocked between them unless we add a rule.

BToE 2.3 with firmware 5.2 was working fine with the rule UDP port 2081 / TCP port 24801 allowed.

Since the update to Ucs 5.3/Btoe 3.0, the phone is not pairing anymore.

I guess the ports used for BToE communications changed. What are the new ports ? I don't see anything in the documentation.

I suspect port 22 is involved but I would like to know what exactly Polycom requires.

Regards,

Francois

Hello Francois,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

BToE 3.3.0 added additional security and port 22 is utilized as well.

I allowed traffic on port 22 and it made me able to use BToE but the audio playback was not.

For this I found that ports 24802 and 24803 UDP were also used. I allowed them and audio playback is now working fine.

It seems some other ports would be required.

Is it possible to know what is the exact list of ports needed and for which purpose?

Regards,

Francois
