Able to SSH into Poly VX411 VoIP phones? CVSS Vulnerability.

Hello, is it possible to SSH into a poly com VX411 VoIP phone? If so what are the credentials? Our vulnerability team found our Poly phones might be using Ubuntu Linux 2.6.20 which has a vulnerability CVSS score 10/10 for being an obsolete operating system. If its not possible to SSH into the Linux operating system, how can I verify the operating system is indeed Ubuntu Linux 2.6.20 or update it?

welcome to the HP Poly community.

You have posted in an incorrect section and your post has been moved by a volunteer. It has been moved to a section more suitable for your request.

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product you are using.

This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come.

For Poly IP phones please provide if this is PVOS, UC Software, or ObiEdition.

A VVX phone does not use Ubuntu and you cannot SSH to the phone either.

Thanks for your reply Steffen, this is a UC software Poly phone. Since it's not Ubuntu, what operating system is this?

Thanks Steffen, is it possible these phones are using Linux 2.6.20 - 2.6.24 which is an obsolete operating system?
