Ok, so right now in DHCP menu i have Static, option 160,string, and ASCII string type.Now. in Server Menu i have FTP, 192.168.1.230, and my user and pass. When the phone starts up and i press the about button. It ca show me my 192.168.1.230 as my server and 192.168.1.2 as my ip. This is correct according to my router. it still wont connect

Hello Ran Dom,

 

my final reply in this matter as everything is outlined in my originally linked FAQ post.

 

Most likely your PC's firewall is blocking the FTP access from the outside.

 

This is mentioned in the linked linked post and only you can verify this on your end.

 

For any additional support questions please contact your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support directly.
