Hi Steffen,
I have a further question on the VVX range if your able to answer it - Do they support "proxy EAPoL-Logoff". This essentialy sends a message to the switch when a PC connected via the phone is disconnected (as far as the switch is concerned the port is still up/up as the phone maintains the connection obviously).
Thanks
Steve

Hello Steve,
Have a look at the <dot1x><eapollogoff/> section in the VVX UCS Admin Guide.
Example:
sec.dot1x.eapollogoff.enabled
- If 0, the phone will not send an EAPOL Logoff message on behalf of the disconnected supplicant.
- If 1, the feature is enabled and the phone will send an EAPOL Logoff message on behalf of the disconnected supplicant connected to the phone’s secondary (PC) port.
As a standard this settings is turned off.

Hi Steven,
I am stuck in a similar problem. Not able to enable this as its not available in the menu itself.
EAPoL Logoff
sec.dot1x.eapollogoff.enabled1
Just want to confirm it, if anyone can have any suggestions, over to it.
Is EAPoL logoff settings work, by just enabling 802.1x settings, or there is an additional steps to be taken care of.
Any help would be appreciated

Hello @shishir ,
Welcome to the Poly Community. Just as a piece of information you replied to an over 8-year-old post.
Both the communities Must Read First or Read 1st and if available the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow up post should contain.
This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.
Unfortunately, your post fell a bit short of the above-explained requirements and we kindly ask you, therefore, to ensure to read these sections and ensure a reply (not Edit!) provides as much detail as possible
Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the FAQs listed in my signature for your convenience.
From our VoIP FAQ:
Jun 25, 2012 Question: How can I add an 802.1x EAP-PEAPv0/MSCHAPv2 Certificate or use Dot.1x?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
and
Mar 08, 2013 Question: Where can I download configuration files from or create these myself?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
