In certain situations or scenarios it may be preferable to disable a USB port or all USB ports on a Polycom VVX Business Media Phone

 

Either the top USB Port or the bottom USB Port (compatible phones) or both can be disabled.

 

Using either

 

feature.usbTop.power.enabled="0"


or

feature.usbRear.power.enabled="0"

 

or a combination of both will disable the USB port(s)

 

    • VVX1500 UC Software 5.3.0 or later
    • VVX500, VVX600 UC Software 5.1.2 or later
    • VVX401, VVX411, VVX501 and VVX601 UC Software 5.4.1 or later
