We would like to disable the sound/tone that VVX phones make when rebooting/booting the phone

We would like to disabled it in configuration file thru provisioning server.

If you can please provide any info on that, thanks

Hello @EdBro ,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

To my own personal knowledge this is currently not implemented on the VVX Platform.

I assume no other customer ever requested this with enough urgency to commit this.

From personal knowledge we use the se.pat.misc.positiveConfirm parameter for this sound effect but this is also used in other sections to removing this may have a negative impact for usability.

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change aka feature request to the current Polycom SIP / UC Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
