Hello,
I have some difficulties to configure a polycom IP 7000. I am using the exact same configuration I used to set up a IP 5000 (which works well), but the IP 7000 will not allow me to get any sound going through.
As it is configured now, the IP 7000 can :
-detect a call (it rings)
-answer a call (when I press the answer button, my other phones on the line will stop ringing)
-end a call (when I press the end a call button, the call is corretly ended)
What does not work is :
-the sound, I have absolutely no sound going in or out (my interlocutor does not hear me, as I don't hear him)
-I can dial, but the phone I want to call never rings. And after ~~30secs, the "call" is brutally ended.
Can someone advice me on what to do now ?
Many thanks.

Hello s.hild,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.
The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
As this may be a firewall issue you may want to look at this:
