I have a 3CX VoIP PBX that has certified that Polycom IP5000 is compatible. The IP5000 can make internal calls and receive external calls, but it will not make any external calls.
I have read up on all the Digit map forums and the Polycom IP5000 was set correctly by default. Please advise This is use for large external conferences

Hello bing6684,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
First we need to determine if the digimap is at fault or if 3CX is actually preventing you from dialing.
The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Oct 7, 2011 Question: Phone unable to Dial a number when Off Hook or on 2nd Call in a Conference or Digitmap issues
Resolution: Please check => here <=
The above enables you to utilize logging as you can see what digitmap you are actually using.
Please also explain if you dial onhook or offhook (Dialtone) as this is the only time the digitmap is applied.
In order to verify if it is 3CX please utilize this:
Jan 19, 2012 Question: How to troubleshoot Polycom VoIP related Issues?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

All of that info is nice, but does not answer close to my question.
The IP5000 is registered to 3CX System
outside caller can call main DID, enter extension and be transferred to IP5000
Internal users can call to it and vice versa
Issue - IP5000 Can not call out to any public/off-network numbers. 7-11 digits
Digit map shows correct.
ALSO
Is it possible for the IP5000 to read the dial plan from the 3CX System instead of its own digit map????

Hello bing6684,
you can simply remove the whole Digitmap (I will add this to the FAQ) but again you have not answered all my questions.
- Did you utilize the Digitmap FAQ and set the relevant logging levels to check what exact Digitmap is being used?
- Did you utilize the VoIP troubleshooting FAQ and set the relevant logging levels to check what is being send via SIP?
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello bing6684,
It seems your digitmap was incorrect then or it would have worked.
