Hi,
I've got a conference SoundStation IP 7000 with two microphones (analog) and a Real Presence group 500 codec with two Microphone Array (digital).
I'd like to connect the SoundStation with two Microphones Array to the Real Presence codec. I had a look on the integration guide (http://support.polycom.com/global/documents/support/setup_maintenance/products/voice/IP7000_HDX_Real... following the figure p.11.
There are the tests realised :
- Connection of SoundStation and Realpresence codec => OK
- One additional Microphone Array connected on the SoundStation => OK
- A second Microphone Array daisy chained on the first => the Microphones Array have the red light flashing.
Any ideas to solv this problem ?

Hello vincentd,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
A important question is always the current software version of the SSIP when testing this.
In addition you mention 2 analog Micorphones and then a Microphone Array.
The SSIP 7000 Support Page => here <= holds a HDX guide (ssip7000_HDX_Integration_Guide) that has some explanation:
- Only one analog extension microphone can be connected to the phone. The other microphone connector on the phone must be available to connect to the Polycom HDX system.
- Only a single SoundStation IP 7000 phone may be connected to a Polycom HDX system. Additionally, up to two Polycom HDX Microphone Arrays may be daisy-chained with the phone on the same Polycom HDX Microphone Cable
Can you illustrate your installation somehow ?

Hello Steffen,
I did a mistake in my explanation. The SPIP7000 with two analog microphones is the initial installation.
What I'm trying is the same as the figure you're showing from the integration guide :
Real Presence Codec <=> SPIP7000 : OK
Real Presence Codec <=> SPIP7000 <=> Microphone Array : OK
Real Presence Codec <=> SPIP7000 <=> Microphone Array <=> Microphone Array : Doesn't work. Microphones flash.
The SPIP version is 4.0.4.2906.
Best regards,

Hello vincentd,
if you are trying to connect it like in the illustrated HDX example I would assume it should work.
As it does not in your case I suggest you contact your Polycom reseller so we can investigate this in support.

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
Just for information, there is two kinds of Microphones Array (http://www.polycom.fr/products-services/hd-telepresence-video-conferencing/realpresence-accessories/...
I use the one of the right on the picture (the new one used with Real Presence codec). Should I try with the old one ?
