Poly Trio 8800

20240222_163106.jpgHi, how do i remove or hide button "quick setup"? I can hide button "setup" and need the same for "quick setup". It is really an unnecessary button. Thank you.

Hello @Norman8800 ,

Welcome to the HP community.

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product, the HP Poly Software, or the Partner application you are using. This is specified in the MUST READ FIRST: Welcome To The Poly VoIP Forum

This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come.

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

What is the configuration used as to my knowledge this may be triggered by:

<change prov.quickSetup.enabled="1" />

The above should be disabled by default.

As we do not know any details other than a screenshot it will be tricky for us volunteers to try and help.

If an issue like this cannot be resolved via a public community post, please work with our support organization in your region. Details on how to contact us are in my signature

Best regards

Steffen Baier

Hi, thank you, but the device dous not respond to this command or its modification. This icon is still active.

I am working with Application SIP Cypress 7.2.7.0191, in SIP phone only mode.

It was not possible to add my Polycom Trio 8800 to the conference the official way, that is, by searching in the menu, because it is simply not there.

Thanks for any idea..

Hello @Norman8800

we are not aware if you created a configuration file or checked a backup for it,

From our FAQ:

Mar 08, 2013 Question: Where can I download configuration files from or create these myself?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

or

May 25, 2017 Question: Can I create a backup of my current configuration?

Resolution: Since UC Software 4.0.0 or later a backup can be created via the Web Interface Utilities > Phone Backup & Restore > Phone Backup > Phone Backup

Please ensure you check the FAQ topics and use the search.

Also simply contact who provides the phone with the configuration.

If this all fails, and no other Volunteer replies, open a support ticket. Details on how to do so are in my signature.

Best regards
