I am having problems with the computer running LYnc detecting the Polycom CX5500. It is conencted over the USB 3 cable adn I have tried several cables.
I have identified an unknown device in device manager which is the CX5500 (I can uninstall the unknow device, plug the Polycom back and the unknow returns).
I have tried different USB cables and ports
Installed the managment software which does not see the Poly.
Repaired Office
Windows is updated
Lateset firmware installed on CX5500
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hello gothamus,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
Could you kindly state the software version as in weeks or moths to come nobody will know what at the time of your post was the latest version.
The CX5500 needs the two black cables (one is USB and one is proprietary Polycom) between the Power Box and the camera and then the blue USB cable between the camera and the PC to work.
- If the above is not the wiring you are using the unit will not work.
- If the above is the wiring you are using and the unit still does not work please contact your Polycom reseller for support.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
