Is there a MAC address range for VVX311 phones vs VVX411 phones?
My customer sent me a spreadsheet of their new Polycom VVX311 and VVX411 phones that I will use to import into the Interactive Intelligence (Genesys) CIC voip system. Their list has the MAC addresses and all the other information I will use in my import, except they didn't differentiate which is a VVX311 and which is a VVX411.
I want to create separate templates in the CIC system to keep these organized. But need the model info.
Is there a specific MAC address range that Polycom gave to the VVX311s and another MAC address range you gave to VVX411 that I can just sort them by in the spreadsheet?

Hello gbeal,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
You cannot distinguish between the separate phone types based on their MAC address.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

You can differentiate per model based on their user agent. Unfortunately that means you will have to write some kind of script to detect when they make requests to your server and parse out the MAC and model.
