Hello all,
I read on the pdf file of the release notes of Trio's software version 5.9.2.AA the following: "This allows users to join Webex meetings from meeting reminders as well as dedicated line keys on their Poly Trio Systems"
I suppose that from this version and from now on we can join directly on a webex meeting from Poly Trio equipment. Sorry if i misunderstood this.
Is a CUCM registration prerequisite for this service, so the Trio can join on a meeting like this?
Ι tried to connect directly to a webex meeting from the Trio unsuccessfully.
Furthermore is there a H.323 gateway or a SIP gateway besides173.243.2.69 or meetingid@meetings.webex.com?

Welcome back to the Poly Community.
Could you kindly clarify your latest statement as the Trio was not released as a WebEx device. It all depends on your setup if something works or not.
Do you have set up a working calendar and do you have a STUN server? If you have involved Poly support I suggest you continue to get them to troubleshoot this or get an official answer that without a Cisco Call Manager this is not possible.

Hi @SteffenBaierUK ,
Poly Engineer has advised that the calendar exchange for Webex is only allowed when CUCM is registered and I don't think that it is true. and I am not sure what STUN server is.
The reason I came to this community is that this same issue has not been resolved with local Poly engineers for a year.

Hi,
That configuration worked for me the time i wrote the post.
That was only for the Trio series
For about one year this does not work anymore. Webex changed a lot of things on the way you could call a room.
Stun server was necessary for the call to succeed. It was a public STUN server.
Exchange server was not necessary but it was the config, because Trio had multiple different lines registration like SFB, IP-PBX, Zoom etc.

Hi LGES,
Attached you can find my Trio 8800 config in order to join to a webex meeting.
This is working for me and i can call meet@go.webex.com and join in a webex meeting
This config is for Trio's line 3.
Do the appropriate changes and try again
