We are being told by Comcast that our current Poly VXX 400 Phones are not compatible with their new network and they want us to buy all new phones. These units are not that old so this does not seem reasonable. Are these phones not compatible with current networks or are they trying to get a sale?

Hello @DN997 ,
Welcome to the HP Poly community.
Comcast would need to provide this information as they are ultimately the ones provisioning the phones. If they state they are no longer supported then I would believe them.
If you have the SIP credentials for the account you could set up your provisioning server and use the phones this way. I do not know if Comcast would support you in this.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier

Hi there. Thank you for the response. The issue is, I don't trust Comcast. They are saying that the phones will not be compatible but as this unit was only discontinued in 2021, I find that hard to believe. The VXX 450 has some upgrades but we are only using these as straight VOIP phones to answer and makes calls so no detailed office configurations that would require upgraded hardware.
Is there any other way to find out if the information I'm being given is true?
