Good Afternoon,

We at my company use a CX600 phone system in a small office over Microsoft Lync (Now Skype for Business).  When we have a second call in our technical support que,  we recieve an audible beep via the handset / headset repeatedly until the second call is answered.

My question is, .... can this be disabled?  If so how?  I've read online that this seems something that cannot be turned off which surprises me,  is it not possible to surpress second calls.  I have spoken to our Lync hosting provider and they are unable to give me an answer on this.

Kind Regards,

Richard

Hello Richard,

Polycom and other manufacturers produce these optimized for Microsoft® Lync® devices after a reference design and the embedded OS running on the phones is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to the Microsoft® community and / or Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.

Please try here

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
