Polycom working with Mitel

Hello everyone

Our client has a Mitel PBX. He is not happy with the Mtiel handsets, so is wanting to use Polycom phones in a building extension:

1. Does Polycom interop with Mitel?

2. I understand third party licenses are required?

Hello Ruben,

In general Polycom IP Phones have been interoperability tested with several of our Partners => here <=

In general Polycom Partners usually only certify our SoundStation IP phones in order to provide professional conference phones if their own portfolio lacks this hardware.

These phones run the same software as our desktop phones so in theory they "should" be compatible but are not officially supported.

Most SIP switches from these kind of hardware manufacturers require a license if for endpoints.
