Hi HP/Poly Support,

Please provide the OBi Edition migration firmware for Polycom VVX 150 (part no. 3111-48810-001).
We need to convert a UCS unit to OBi Edition for legacy interoperability testing in a controlled lab.

Device details:
- Model: VVX 150 (3111-48810-001 Rev:A)
- MAC: <Do not include the product serial number or any private information>
- Serial: <Do not include the product serial number or any private information>
- Current firmware: UC Software 6.4.6.2453 (Updater 6.4.6.2064)
- Provisioning: local (no PDMS-O/PDMS-SP)

Requested files (any of the below are acceptable):
- VVX150_OBi_V6.4.5.x (latest non-BGU build)
- VVX150_OBi_V6.4.4.x
- VVX150_OBi_V6.4.1.0283 (original migration bundle)

Please include:
- The .ld (or .fw) images and any required bootloader/migration package
- Release notes and checksums (SHA256)
- Any caveats for UCS→OBi conversion/reversion

We understand OBi is EoL and not supported for new Google Voice/Zoom onboarding. This is for lab validation only; we accept the risks and lack of future updates.

If partner entitlements are required, please advise the process or temporarily grant download access.

Sep 03, 2019 Question: Can I convert a Poly VVX into ObiEdition or UC Software?

ResolutionThe process is not officially supported by Poly.

  • If you want a VVX in Obi Edition please purchase the ObiEdition
  • If you want a VVX in UC Software please purchase a VVX in UC Edition

    As stock issues may prevent users from purchasing the right phone an older guide on how this can be converted is >here<

    Please note the process is not officially supported by HP Poly
