Hello,

 

We are using the VVX 410 as our primary VOIP device. Our core business is providing telphone support to endusers. It's import that agents can monitor their own status. Currently it's only possible to show and change the status via "My Status". 

 

Is it possible to show the status on the home screen of the phone?

Hello Tim,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include what kind of server you are using as this depends what the phone can display.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The phones are on UC Software version 5.4.4.3041.  Our VoIP server is from BeIP. We can see the status (Available, Busy, Away) via the "My Status" button. But we want to be able to view this on the home screen of the phone.

What kind of status are we talking about ?

 

Is this Buddy Watch as an example?

Consulting with my colleagues we only display the status when we are not available.

 

Is this some sort of ACD as we originally developed this for our Partner BroadWorks so there may be some feature parity between what BeIP can do and what not.

 

Their Team is aware of how they can contact us so I suggest you work with them on this.
