I have a soundstation ip 6000 that we bought for our non profit organization - we are unable to reset to factory defaults in order to regain control from a previous provisioning.

On boot firmware is 3.1.3.0439, the unit picks up an ip from DHCP on our server, but I am unable to use the web interface - default UN/PW do not work, no error message, just returns to the signin popup.

Menu>>Settings>>Advanced default PW 123 works, but the only options available are to change the PW and reboot the phone.

I can review the configuration - ip-5000-0004(rest of mac address).cfg and sip313e.cfg are listed.

When the unit boots it shows an extension that it is not registered to us. It does not register with our system (Jive).

Let me know if any other info would be helpful to enable us to provision the phone.

Any help would be appreciated.

Andrew

Hello @AForklift,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

If the unit connects to your DHCP set up a DHCP option 160 or 66 and provide it with a username and password and point it to your new provisioning server so it can download a current software and enable you to reset the configuration.

We will not provide any information how the phone can be reset but we cannot stop you from using a search engine to find the same.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
