Hi, my customer has purchased a Soundstructure C8 system with 4 phones and wants them connected to their call manager express v8.6. All the instructions I find in Polycom's site are for a CUCM cluster. I've been trying to set it up as a SIP phone with no luck so far. Unfortunately, I'm doing this 3 time zones away so I can't see the phone they are trying to place. I can get into the Soundstructure VoIP interface and DHCP has already given them IP addresses. Mostly, I've just been trying to set them up as simple SIP phones but there aren't many options under phone type. Is CME even compatible? And if so, where can I find a configuration that will work?

Hello jlivingston,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
As you already found the SoundStructure VoIP card is only supported on the certified CUCM platform.
The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Above are simple instructions how to utilize a SIP extension and password combination on our Web Interface to register to a SIP server.
