I am attempting to integrate corporate LDAP directory with the 8440s. Connecting to the LDAP server is successful, however searches are not. I run syslog and I am not quite sure how to interpret the error messages. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Here is the syslog:
|ldap |3|00|ldapQuerySimple::assmCondition:empty query attribute
|ldap |1|00|cDynamicData::getData:get enabled - filter OK <(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(telephoneNumber=*)(givenName=A*))>
|ldap |1|00|ldapData::runCmd: wlanModeHighThroughput Id(3)
|ldap |1|00|ldapData::runSearch:dir=<DOWN> reverse=<No> index=<OFF> filter=<(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(telephoneNumber=*)(givenName=A*))>
|ldap |3|00|ldapData::runSearch:query error - rc=0x1 <Operations error>
|ldap |1|00|ldapData::procData:error m_err=<0x2>
|ldap |3|00|cDynamicData::processError:query error
|ldap |1|00|ldapData::runCmd: wlanModeStandby Id(3)
|ldap |3|00|cDynamicData::processError:query error
Here is the config:
<ldap>
<directory>
<sort dir.corp.sortControl="0" />
<vlv dir.corp.vlv.allow="0" />
<cache dir.corp.pageSize="16" dir.corp.cacheSize="64" />

<baseDN dir.corp.baseDN="OU=Users,OU=xxxx,DC=xxx DC=xxxxx,DC=xxx" dir.corp.scope="sub" dir.corp.filterPrefix="(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(telephoneNumber=*)" />
<sync dir.corp.backGroundSync="1" dir.corp.backGroundSync.period="3600" dir.corp.autoSubmitTimeout="1" />
<view dir.corp.viewPersistence="0" />

Hello upmc-dev,
without knowing your currently used software (aka comparing if it was a branch that was common) I cannot make any recommedations.
You are more than welcome to check our FAQ but as your issue most likely requires support the most efficient and direct way is to contact SpectraLink directly.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier
