Hello,
I'm integrating Polycom Trio 8500 to our network. I'm trying to set up correct provisioning rules.
What is default value for device.dhcp.bootSrvOpt?
In the admin guide, there is no information about the default value.
"
device.dhcp.bootSrvOpt
When the boot server is set to Custom or Custom+Option66, specify the numeric DHCP option
that the phone looks for.
Null
128 to 254
"
For device in my lab is the parameter set to 161 (and it remains after factory reset), but I'm not sure if any other device bought on market will have the same value for the parameter.
Could you please lead me to some document where it will be written what is the default value that I can count on it?
Best regards,
Jakub Zima
P.S. I can use option 66. We are using it for other devices and it leads to our TFTP server and Polycom devices use an FTP server.

Hello @jaqup ,
Welcome back to the Poly Community.
Normal "SKU" Phones always use option 160 and then fall back to option 66. LYNC or Skype for Business SKU phones use option 161 and then fall back to option 66.
You can use the above parameter to change this to any of the defined ranges.
