We bought Trio C60 units to be used as remote microphones for our Poly Studio X30 cameras. The cameras have been working fine for a while without any issues, but the Trio C60 units are showing a DHCP Failed error during startup. They are powered properly via PoE but encounter a DHCP error. When we connect another device to the same port, it receives an IP address without any problem, but not the C60. Even with a static IP, it doesn't work. The only thing that works is using Wi-Fi, but for some reason, when using Wi-Fi, my Studio X30 doesn't detect the C60 in the available devices. I want to mention that I can ping the C60's web interface from the Studio X30 camera. Thank you for your assistance. Current software version: 8.1.5.1737, and the device has been reset several times.

Hello @Julien-B ,

welcome to the HP Poly community.

Is this a brand new unit?

It could be as simple as LLDP or CDP

Or public VoIP FAQ contains:

May 03, 2017 Question: Can I disable CDP or LLDP on the phone?

Resolution:See Option 2 for example screenshots => here <= for the VLAN menu.

Try to disable this. The next step would be looking at the logs

Jun 06, 2018 Question: Can I capture Logs via USB on compatible phones?

ResolutionDetails => here <=

In regards to WiFi the network may not route to the wired lan the Studio X is connected too. In addition, from memory, pairing via WiFi to a Studio X is not supported.

If this all fails I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards

Thank you for the response. I will try the DHCP options. As for the Wi-Fi, the routing between Wi-Fi and the wired network is functional because I can ping from the web interface of the Poly Trio C60 to my Studio X30 camera. So, I don't understand why my Poly Trio C60 is not detected in the devices of the web interface of the Studio X30 camera. Thank you.
