I've looked through many of the posts regarding upgrading the firmware on a Soundstation IP 6000. I'm looking to upgrade my Soundstation IP 6000 to the latest version (current versions below). Trying to even figure out which version I can go to seems to be a bit trivial, let alone all different download options.
SIP: 3.2.4.0267
BootROM: 4.3.0.0616
Bootblock: 3.0.2_15600-001.0024
The problem that I'm having is upon rebooting the phone it fails to connect to the provisioning server. My provisioning server is just an FTP server (anonymous login enabled) on the same subnet as the phone. I can log in to the FTP site via a web browser with no credentials. I've tried many different server settings, e.g. IP, ftp://IP, etc. and I still get nowhere. What am I missing? Can someone please provide some insight and please don't send me links to other so called solutions. Simple instructions on how to upgrade this thing would be nice.
Thanks in advance,

Hello @ConfusedUser1,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
The very first community's VoIP FAQ post contains this here:
Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
The SoundStation IP6000 and SoundStation IP7000 are specifically discussed in detail => here <=
Connecting to your FTP from your PC will most likelt work as there may not be any Firewalls etc. involved.
Connecting from your Phone to your PC is using a different network so there may be obstacles.
Please post at least some kind of logs so we can check this.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
