I've been getting all the prep work done for rolling out Polycom VVX desk phones through RingCentral at my office but I've run into a weird issue.
The two test phones (VVX 150's) say in their admin settings that they do not have an IP address assigned. However on my Unifi Controller clients list and the address leases section of my Windows DHCP server they are both showing up with an address assigned.
Edit: sorry should have clarified what I've done for troubleshooting. I've tried assigning the IP manually on the phone, both on the intended voice traffic DHCP scope and on our native LAN, but it still refuses to work.
I've just checked the firmware version per the FAQ and can see the phone is on 5.8.0.12848 and can see that the latest version for these handsets is 6.3.1.11465. If it is firmware that's the cause I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to be able to update it, given that I can't get the phones to register an IP in any form to allow it access to the various update methods.
Has anyone come across this before? And if so how did you resolve it?

Hello @ITatCML ,
Welcome to the Poly Community.
A good starting point would be to update the community on the currently used software version as the VVX x50 comes in two different versions.
UC Software or ObiEdition software
Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software or Obi Edition Version or the Updater / BootROM Version of my Phone?

If you can access the Phones Web Interface some logs may be of use.
