Hello,
I've got some users with VVX 500 phones in a medical office. The reception desk complains that when she's on the phone with a client, the client can hear background conversations in the lobby when the staff is speaking with other clients physically in the lobby. The reception user is only ever using the handset, no speaker or headset. Does the noise cancellation feature work with just a handset? Are there any other options to reduce background noise in this scenario?
Thanks!

Hello alatos,
without knowing the current software it is not possible for others or yourselves to cross check the release notes to see if any changes had been made.
We have some <vad/> parameters but I would strongly recommend to work directly with your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support in order to get the correct and advisable values set to get your customer setup correctly.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
