Hello Nick,
I cannot comment on this as that was the answer that I have received. RingCentral is working on their provisioning platform and at present they do not have a profile specific for the VVX600
From a Polycom point of view in regards of the difference I would provision the VVX600 like a VVX500 but again I cannot comment on RingCentral's platform.

Is there a workaround that you can help us with? It seems that even if we point the phone to the \vvx500\macaddress url previously provided by RingCentral, the config file download fails. Partially, I believe, because the phone tries to look for a VVX600 directory. Is there something causing the redirection?

Hello Nick,
Our phones do send phone type information so there may be a script on RingCentrals end.
Again Polycom does not have any control over this provisioning platform so I can only suggest you follow up as suggested by RingCentral and use a generic SIP device profile.
