I have taken my VVX 600 and attached a D60 to it. Setup is quick and easy, just added this config:

feature.dect.enabled="1"
reg.1.terminationType="VVX-DECT"
VVXD60.Handset.1.outGoingLineIndex="1"
VVXD60.Handset.1.line.1="1"

Though the phone shows everything set up correctly the handset is not working. All I see on the handset is a zero. I can provision a second line and that seems to work fine, but I want the same extension on both the 600 and the D60.

Hello miken32,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Read First"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

In addition did you check this:

May 04, 2016 Question:Are there any known VVX D60 Wireless Handset Limitations?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Hoteling, Busy Lamp Field (BLF), Enhanced Feature Keys, and Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) are not supported on the wireless handset, but these features are still available for the paired VVX business media phone.

An extension shared with the D60 Handset cannot use any of the above features (August 2016)

I'm using the latest 5.4.4 release. This is a plain old SIP extension, not a BLF key or anything else.

The phone configuration looks like this:

        attendant.resourceList.2.address="7060"
attendant.resourceList.2.label="7060"

feature.dect.enabled="1" msg.mwi.1.subscribe="7040" msg.mwi.1.callBackMode="contact" msg.mwi.1.callBack="*97" reg.1.displayName="7040" reg.1.address="7040" reg.1.label="7040" reg.1.auth.userId="7040" reg.1.auth.password="xxxx" reg.1.lineKeys="1" reg.1.terminationType="VVX-DECT" VVXD60.Handset.1.outGoingLineIndex="1" VVXD60.Handset.1.line.1="1"

So after some experimentation, it seems that any BLF keys on the phone at all will cause this setup to fail. I've removed some BLF keys from the phone and it's working as expected. This is in contrast to what your much linked document says: "these features are still available for the paired VVX business media phone."

Here's where you tell me to open a ticket with my reseller, which I don't have one of, and everyone puts up with this being broken because Polycom can't be bothered to proactively fix problems their customers report.

Hello miken32,

we have been over this in the past and I had explained this before but here we go again:

Mar 8, 2012 Question: What kind of support should I expect from the Community?
Clarification: Please check => here <=

The above explains this in detail and the longer you refuse to supply the MAC address the longer nobody will be able to help you.

Hello miken32,

in addition I already stated the above in my original reply.

If the Line from the VVX that is share with the D60 has any of the FAQ mentioned features the Line will not work on the D60.

If the VVX has another line registered and this line is monitoring a BLF then the D60 is not affected.

Please use the attendant.reg parameter to define another line.

Best Regards

Ah, that's helpful information. The documentation doesn't make it clear that the extension to be shared on the D60 can't be subscribed to a BLF. I read it as saying you couldn't share the BLF line keys themselves to the D60. Thanks.
