I'm working on an EFK function that will do the following:
Condition: On-Hook Dialing
EFK Button Label: Page
Action: Press 'Page'. Select a Line from the main Lines screen. Take selected line, Ie: User Pressed 'Bob', who has a destination of 101. Prepend a *... Send Invite to *101 (Backend PBX will then proceed to page extension 101)
Here's what I have found so far:
efk.efklist.9.action.string="$FTransfer$$FSoftkey1$"
This will prompt the user to select a line key for a *transfer*.... But I want to be able to while On-Hook, select a line key and dial it directly, without needing a transfer. I also want to prepend to the dialed destination.
How might this be accomplished?

Hello @markm,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.
Both the Admin Guide matching your yet unknown Software Version and the EFK FAQ here:
Nov 25, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of a softkey button / use EFK?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
contain sufficient information on how to build EFK's and the restrictions around this.
Selecting a Line as a variable within an EFK is not possible to my knowledge.
If you would need such feature please raise a feature request:
