Hello VoIPonaught,
we fixed this in version 5.4.5 and later
- VOIP-115056 On VVX 500 and VVX 600 phones, DTMF tones will be played when a user is in an active and non-held call.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier

Thank you for update, Steffen!
I have actually noticed 5.4.5 2 nights ago (as it was supposed to be released on the 3rd) and was able to download it.
We've tested it on couple of phones - so far so good.
Question though - 5.5.0 (that has been released earlier this year) still had this bug, would the newer software versions in this line 5.5.x have this bug fixed as well?
Thank you!

Hello VoIPonaught,
The release notes will answer this for you. If the FIx would have been already in the "older" 5.5.0 it would state this.
The fix for this is in 5.4.5 and the next 5.5.1 and all later versions.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
