Hello,
I have a series of VVX601 phones as part of my telephony offering. We have them set for power saving/off hours and the screens turn off as expected. I would like the phones to automatically wake up when the off hours have come to an end, but this does not appear to exist in the settings of the phone.
There is a post on the forum on the VVX410 from 2 years ago where it is stated that this is not a feature today. Has this changed? Is it possible to wake these up when the off hours have completed? It's caused too many problems for users believing their "phones are dead", and I would rather not turn off the energy saving feature.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Hello Chuck,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .
In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
In addition linking to the post you found may clear up the difference between the VVX600 and a VVX400.
Please reply with the above requested minimal details and the backup of the phone configuration.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards

Hello,
The phones are running v5.5.1 of the UC software.
The article I reference on the VVX410 is here: http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/VVX410-display-not-turning-on-after-quot-off-hours-quot-ends/m-...
Looking forward to your reply.

Hello Chuck,
The Chapter "Power-Saving" within the current latest 5.6.0 Admin Guide does answer this:
- Note: When you enable power-saving mode on VVX 500 and 600, the phone display screen does not automatically turn back on after going idle.
