We are using VVX 300/301 Polycom phone version 5.9.7 and 6.4.3. Our register server can be resolved to multiple IPs, such as IP1, IP2, IP3 etc. All IPs have the same priority. Currently, Polycom phone first register to IP1, before registration expired, Polycom phone may try to register to IP2 or IP3. We prefer Polycom phone continue to register to IP1 unless IP1 is down.

Is it possible to configure VVX300/301 to stick to the current registered IP for renewing instead of trying new IP?

Thanks for your response. In that config, reg.1.server.1.address has IP1, reg.1.server.2.address IP2.

In our setup, reg.1.server.1.address has register server FQDN, and this FQDN can be resolved to multiple IPs, such as IP1, IP2 etc. We don't configure reg.1.server.2.address.

We only use reg.1.server.1.address and this server address can be resolved to multiple IPs. With this setup, Poly phone keep jumping registration between multiple IPs, and we'd like to have Poly phone stick to one IP for registration and renew unless that IP is down. What should we do in this case to keep Poly phone stick in existing registered IP for renewing?

Hello @hding

the linked FAQ post has multiple PFDs attached so I suggest you check these.

Other volunteers are welcome to reply as well.

If all fails I suggest raising a ticket with Poly support if one of the phones is still in service.

Best regards
