Edge B20

Hi ,

 

We installed Poly Edge B20 Phones. with the hardware version A and software version is 1.0.1 ( Build 5585M).

we installed with asterisk pbx. and the problem is the Poly edge B20 handset not ringing sound when i call from the other extension,

 

anybodi can help me ?

welcome to the HP Poly community.

 

the software you are using is no longer supported. A current software is 1.1.0.6355

 

What do you mean by Handset not ringing sound when i call from the other extension?

 

The phone itself rings if you get a call from another extension or externally. The Handset would only play back a call progress tone, the same as via loud speaker when you call another extension.

 

Please update the phone to a currently supported version. If you still have an issue I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Hi ,

 

It happened after 24 hour phone idle ( Standby ). next day i try to call that handset then the handset not heard ringing .

that is a completely different situation than originally explained and most likely a keep-alive or firewall issue. Please try and always have a full statement of what the issue is.
