Hi,

all my vvx 411 phones identify themselves as " Polycom VVX 411" in the sysname field of lldp.

is it possible to change that info to hostname ?

would help to identify the phone at the switchport, easier that having a list of the same name at all phones.

thx

/Joachim

Hello @stain ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

There is currently no way to do this. You would need a feature request:

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change aka feature request to the current Polycom SIP / UC Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=
