Our VVX 600 phone has some issue from the time we bought it. The call is not landing on the phone but we get a missed call notification. Thus, we are trying to upgrade VVX600 phone which is cuurenty running on version 4.1.2 and nothing seem to work.
1. We created provisioning server and created FTP site on that server, and downloaded .sip.ld file for vvx 600 version 5.0.0. The phone was able to detect the FTP site, but after reboot the version remains the same.
2. On the Lync web server, we downloaded .cab file, and run the import command. We were able to see the device update folder and logs on the lync file share and also on the control panel it was showing the new version which is 5.0.0. Tried rebooting the phone still didnot get upgraded.
3. On the Lync web serveer, we downloded the .sip.ld file, created http site on the server and pointed to teh directory where firmware is available. On the phone under utilities page, we gave the path http://feserver/firmware and when clicked check for update we were able to see the new version, but unable to install it still throws an error message.
4. Then tried version 4.1.8, still the same issue.
We have opened port 80, 20,21,22 and 69 between the phone and server as well. Not sure what is stopping the phoen from upgrade.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Hello kus,
The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
The above explains how to setup a local provisioning server.
I would suggest you setup a syslog server in order to troubleshoot why the phone cannot connect to the server.
You may also want to use a spanned port using wireshark to capture the network traffic.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
