Hi there:
Just started getting the AccelerometerST error and tried the sp67001-67500/sp67280.exe version, however this did not work for my system. I did find another note in the forum and it mention to use
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75979.exe
This one did work for my system. Don't know if the first one is outdated or what but I'm runnning windows 10 version 10.0.15063 on an hp pavilion. Just FYI...
Thanks

Win10 HP Pavilion laptop
I uninstalled the 3D app first.
rebooted
I installed the Microsoft patch second:
https://goo.gl/aw0AKk or directly
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
rebooted
Then installed the latest [Oct 2016] version sp77869.exe
The link for it is on this thread but, I couldn't put my hands on it at the moment.
rebooted
Fixed problem for me.

Hello. I am having the same problem with the accelerometerST.exe and getting a message that the "vcruntime140.dll is missing. This just started with the most recent update for Microsoft 10. What is the solution for Windows 10 - I have an ENVY notebook.
Thanks for your soonest help.

Hello, you sent me a link to the download to correct this problem, but the executable file does not launch automatically. I looked in the downloaded folder but cannot locate the correct .exe file. What file should I click on the launch the download manually?
You sent me the following link:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp67001-67500/sp67280.exe
Thanks
